  1. Not to mention the flooding in Pakistan, an area of which the size of the UK is now under water. 🙏♥️🌈

  2. I had a friend at university, Craig, who committed suicide in 1999. His brother died one year later on the exact same day of meningitis. Their remaining family lives in Cape Coral, Florida (the town between Fort Myers and the Gulf of Mexico). I haven't had any news of any of them, but I hope they evacuated in time. People in that area thought the storm was going to hit landfall more north, so a lot of them didn't leave.

  3. Thankfully, though, my friend, Laura, and her parents (Tampa Bay area) are all safe even though none of them decided to evacuate.

  4. I have a brother and his family who live in Lakeland, Florida, near Tampa. I, too, hope they got to a safer place before this happened and that they will have a house to come back to.
