Florida Hurricane Devastation
Heart-breaking images of the devastation at Fort Meyers after Hurricane Ian. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of South West Florida.

Not to mention the flooding in Pakistan, an area of which the size of the UK is now under water. 🙏♥️🌈
ReplyDeleteOur prayers for the Pakistani people, thanks for sharing Aidan.

ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline, Love and Light to you.
DeleteI had a friend at university, Craig, who committed suicide in 1999. His brother died one year later on the exact same day of meningitis. Their remaining family lives in Cape Coral, Florida (the town between Fort Myers and the Gulf of Mexico). I haven't had any news of any of them, but I hope they evacuated in time. People in that area thought the storm was going to hit landfall more north, so a lot of them didn't leave.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad story about your uni friend Craig and his brother. We pray that the remaining family escaped the storm.
DeleteThankfully, though, my friend, Laura, and her parents (Tampa Bay area) are all safe even though none of them decided to evacuate.
ReplyDeleteI am very pleased that your friend and her parents are safe. Love and Light to you.
DeleteI have a brother and his family who live in Lakeland, Florida, near Tampa. I, too, hope they got to a safer place before this happened and that they will have a house to come back to.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I hope your brother's house escaped the storm. Hugs to you, my friend.
