Guest Post: Lance Re Jordan/Trump For Speaker

My friend Lance has done an excellent in-depth analysis of the news that Jim Jordan will also run for Speaker of the House along with President Trump.

Both DTJ and Jim Jordan (JJ) running for the Speakership is intended to create confusion in [DS ] / [MSM]. You never telegraph your move to the enemy.

It splits the [D's] energy to attack just one person.

It sets-up the 'which one is worse' scenario, the [D's] might beg for JJ rather than accept DJT. 

My guess is The House [D's] will reject DJT as speaker until the R's propose a different speaker. JJ could be the target.

DJT as Speaker might be a 'Castling' maneuver (Chess). It is a very powerful Office if you consider the [DS] are running out of time for 'change of batter'; 25th Biden and Swap-out Harris... Clearly Harris as president would be bad optics for [D's], conversely good optics for a DJT landslide at the general election.

Castling: "places the king in an easily defended position, moves the rook towards the centre of the board where it is easily developed and does all that in one move, improving the player's tempo"

I am sure the [DS's] will have game-planned a possible permeation of what effect holding the Speakers Office will have on the four law suits against DJT. However if he is elected Speaker, the optics of the [DS] prosecuting DJT in Court will emphasize it as being persecution of political opposition, again bad optics for [D's], conversely good optics for DJT.
