It is important to remember that the [O]lympics Opening Ceremony is always staged as a massive live television event. The reality for spectators watching the ceremony on the Seine was decidedly underwhelming.

I am with this guy. He drops a few F bombs but his message makes a lot of sense. Paris: usual population 2.1 million. Paris population with Olympic visitors: 19 million. So that is nearly 20 million people in a city with infrastructure for 2 million, until 11^th August. As he says, throw in power cuts and rail breakdowns - that is a lot of potential chaos and disaster (1' 13" video).

Check out this short clip of President Trump's assassination attempt. Those people behind him look far too calm if those are real shots. Vincent Fusca barely moved and calmly watched the proceedings. A person beside him started filming on their phone. The woman on the right in the bright blue top didn't drop her drink (wouldn't you if those were real bullets...???).
