When I was in my late teens I used to dress the same way as the young woman in the video. I sewed my own 1940's style dresses with full circle skirts, and I wore peep toe shoes. I was missing my last life in France in 1942.
Well, Light Warriors, I have had quite a frustrating two days due to technological hitches as I compiled my posts. Translation: Things happened that were beyond my very limited IT ability. What to do...? This morning, for one brief crazy moment, I contemplated throwing my hands up in the air and walking out. No post. I cannot recall the last time I did not write a post.
As you can see, I composed myself, forged on and managed to get a post published.
The energies are extremely challenging right now. I thought I was on an emotional rollercoaster a few months ago but it was nothing compared to the emotional triggers I have experienced in the last few days. Some of them have blind-sided me - issues that I thought were long gone.
These intense powerful energies are leading into the BIG August Supermoon on 19th August. I posted a link to Pam Gregory's excellent video about the August Supermoon in a previous post. Today I will share Molly McCord's August Supermoon video, also an excellent analysis (23 minute video, can be watched at 1.25 speed).

Love the classy woman's clothes. I enjoy watching shows that are set from the twenties through the fifties because I am admiring women's clothes, low tech, Tartarian architecture and nice landscapes. Thanks Sierra! 💗

DeleteThe city she walks in looks very Tartarian with beautiful houses (Italy?) and she fits wonderfully in it with her 'old fashioned' dresses (and real colours), compared to the people in 'modern' 3d clothes. She even wears a hat that looks romantic to me. Some women looked at their own clothes as if they suddenly got reminded of a better way to do things in their lives.

DeleteTorsten, I also noticed the women looking down at their own clothes after seeing her. They appeared to realise that they could do much better. I try to wear color as much as possible and I love dresses and skirts in summer. NZ is a country in perpetual mourning. Many Kiwis wear black, mainly I think to support our rugby team the All Blacks. I love color...!
DeleteWhen I was a belly dancer my teacher and friend always taught us to never wear black costumes. I made a belly dance skirt out of an Indian sari and used saris to decorate my home. It's a joy to watch Indian weddings and shows for all the colors.
DeleteThanks for persevering through the tech glitches Sierra! I had a day filled with "signs and wonders". From a giant multicolored dragonfly that landed on my shorts and wouldn't leave. To seeing people and words on t-shirts convey messages. Spotting my favorite colors side by side everywhere. Even felt my heart open up into love for everyone I saw for about 20 seconds in a large supermarket. (Never happened before!). I feel we've reached a "longevity clause" in our Earth contracts. Something VERY special is happening! This entails TOTAL freedom for Gaia and us all. Also feels like the "safety blockade" that has kept twin flames and soulmates apart has lifted. Meaning that the darkness here has dropped enough that relationships like those can flourish without dark sabotage or dangers. This blog is special, I've shared my tough days and wanted to share a super positive one. Much ♥️ and ⚡🌎😇s

DeleteI also love the fashion from the twenties to the fifties. In high school I sewed some twenties outfits for a presentation and my friends and I danced to twenties music in front of the class, everyone was in stitches. The flared skirts are so classy, I still wear that style. One of my sister’s was the Buyer for Chanel and every time I went into the store the 50’s style clothes just made me feel at home. I couldn’t afford them but I did get some lovely hand me downs from my sister. It was never about materialism for me but an interesting familiar feeling with these styles.

DeleteI absolutely loved those dresses that the girl was wearing! I don’t dress like that but I would say that I have more style than a lot of the girls in that video. I like to dress like a hippie — palazzo pants, colorfully patterned eastern style skirts, tank tops that show a little bit of midriff, lots of handmade jewelry with real crystals. I also like to dress goth; I don’t go all black anymore like I did when I was an edgy teen, I like to do black, silver, and one other color, usually purple or red. I also have handmade jewelry that goes well with my goth outfits. A running theme with all my clothes is that I try to be modest, at least way more than a lot of young women these days. I have a large bust so even if I completely cover up, I still get eyes on me.
ReplyDeleteAnael, I have a wardrobe full of colorful palazzo pants, they are my favorites...! Comfortable and colorful is my motto with clothing. Sometimes I get stopped in shops while wearing my palazzo pants and asked where I bought them because the fabrics are so colorful.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a tricky time, and I too have days of highs and lows, energy and exhaustion, getting caught up in the illusion and wanting things to change and then realizing it’s an illusion and everything is and will be okay. The other day I took 3 naps, which is a first. As you end your posts Sierra, we are hanging in there. We are doing what we came here to do. Bravo to all of us!!
