Finally, I want to share a personal update regarding my on-going recovery from people-pleasing. I have come such a long way in recent months. This morning I was brave enough to tell a neighbor that I can't water their garden this summer because I have to tend to my own, and that of another neighbor. Last summer I dragged a hose around this neighbor's garden for weeks. It's not easy at all for me to say 'No' to people in need. However, there is always someone else who can (and should) step into the breech.
