Much loved murdered Nelson police officer Lyn Fleming was honored with a full police funeral this afternoon. I watched the livestream from the Cathedral nearby.

When I stepped out of my car near the cathedral before the service, there was a strange silence - right in the heart of the city. All I could hear was the birds singing. The sun was shining after days of gloomy wet weather. It was a beautiful day, fitting for the farewell of a beautiful soul.

Lyn's funeral was a powerful testament to love and unity consciousness. There was a mix of personal family anecdotes and accolades for her exceptional career as a police officer. As the speakers said, Lyn was a humble woman and would have hated all the fuss.

May Lyn's death not be in vain as we continue to win the war against the dark forces all over the world.
