President Trump's Stirring Speech

I really enjoyed President Trump's speech. I cried several times, both happy and sad tears. Here is the link to the speech (one hour 42 mins).

As my friend Coach Jerry said, why was the speech not titled 'State Of The Union' by the MSM...? Maybe because this was a speech for the REPUBLIC. It doesn't matter. It was a fine presentation, packed full of beautiful moments.

BioClandestine posted an excellent summary of the speech. I agree with every word he said.

'My biggest takeaway from Trump’s address, is that that the Democrats are completely broken.

The optics could not have been worse.

The Dems have been relegated to holding signs in the corner and pouting, while Trump cleans up the mess THEY created.

They refused to clap even for the American citizens that Trump honored. They couldn’t stand and clap for steel workers, farmers, the mothers of children who had been murdered, or the young man with brain cancer, etc., but they were willing to clap for sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine…

They showed that they are willing to put politics before the American People. This is apparent with their policies, but tonight we saw it play out in real time.

It also didn’t help the Dems that Trump called them all human traffickers to their faces in front of the entire nation, which is WILD. I’m curious to see if the MSM address that or ignore it, we shall see.

Trump and the Republicans appear to be competent, sane, goal-oriented, professional, and pro-American, while the Dems are incompetent, irrational, directionless, petulant, and anti-American.

My first impression of the evening..? Melania looked gorgeous...! She was so elegant. She richly deserved the standing ovation she received from Congress.

President Trump opened with a powerful statement: 'To my fellow citizens...America is BACK.'

It didn't take long for a heckler to disrupt the speech - he was escorted out by security staff. The pathetic Democrats resorted to holding up childish signs and refusing to clap, demonstrating their gross ignorance to tens of millions of people worldwide. Q: 'You cannot tell the people; you have to show them...'

There were too many highlights to list individually. I will pick just a few...

Funny moment... President Trump read data that stated 130,000 Americans are aged over 160 years. He looked over at RFK Jr: 'We have a healthier country than I thought, Bobby...'

Poignant moment... President Trump: 'Message to every child in America.You are perfect EXACTLY the way God made you. Wokeness is gone. It is gone.'

A happy emotional moment...

A 13 year old boy recovering from a brain tumor who always dreamed of being a police officer was unexpectedly made an honorary Secret Service agent during the speech (tears from me).

Sad emotional moments...

President Trump honored the presence of family members of murder victims of illegal migrants, including Laken Riley. His genuine compassion for the family members was humbling. 

Fresh intel moment... President Trump shared that just before the speech he received a letter from Zelensky requesting the opportunity to negotiate peace. President Trump said that both Russia and Ukraine are ready for peace.

Sitting in my office in a rural NZ town, I confess that I cheered loudly quite frequently during the speech. My windows were wide open and I didn't care who heard me. 

I am so damn PROUD of our Commander-in-Chief and his entire cabinet of intelligent, passionate, caring patriots. Just by being their intelligent, passionate, caring selves, they made the Democrats look like fools - and that is a very good thing.
